Hilarious Customer Service

I'm sitting right now on hold with ESPN re: some fantasy baseball moves. The best part of this call is that they made me confirm information, such as my birthdate, to access my team. I wonder how many people call in to change rosters of others in their leagues.

Wow. All I can say is wow, this site it awesome (assuming you have a sense of humor). Someecards.com has unbelievably hip, hilarious ecards for your cool friends and family members.

Google Notebook

I found out about Google Notebook a couple weeks ago and began using it for some projects I'm working on. Essentially it's an app or plug in that allows you to keep notebooks of links, photos, thoughts, etc. through your google account.

I think those in the Delta have followed Seth Godin's "Purple Cow" to a "T." Take a look at the Kool-Aid Pickle that was just written up in the New York Times.

My favorite part about it is the recipe of extra strength Kool-Aid and 1 lb of sugar.

SkypeCasting

It seems Skype technology (internet phone service) may not just be limited to talking to your friends a continent away for free. Heineken used Skype's technology to do a SkypeCast of a concert. Seems that this might open up a lot of marketing doors.

Google Analytics Tip

I've been using Google Analytics on a project I've been working on - the Lofts @ 4120, a luxury condo project in Cincinnati. Slowly I'm learning the tips and tricks that go along with it and Google AdWords. TED - He's the Man

Yesterday I found the TED website and it's "Talks" sections, which includes 15-20 minute videos of talks given during the various TED conferences.

Here's a quick description of what TED is:

" TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader.

The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes)."
