A New Sears?

I'm a member of Bzz Agent - you know the word of mouth group. So, as a member I get glimpses at new movements by various companies (and coupons, specials, etc.). For the past month the campaign I've been involved in was the movement by Sears to redo their layout and enter the next century.

Well, I checked out the new Sears a couple weeks ago- very disappointing - it seemed like there may have been good intentions, but I think they may have hired a high school class to do the layout and design instead of a real firm. The still felt like someone's basement and the last thing I wanted to do was spend time there.

You can get a sense for their movement in this article

Getting To The Quad

A little self promotion. My new creation, Getting To The Quad – Your Guide for the College Experience, has just been released.

The book was written with help from contributors around the country, including members of the GA Tech, Wash U, Emory, GA State, and NYU faculty and staff, as well as former admissions counselors and high school counselors. We also got feedback from high school and college students from all over.

The book is available on Amazon.

Make sure to check out the updated website and see if you meet the qualifications to get a free copy from our friends at Student Lending Works.

Gmail Is All Powerful

I love google’s products.

I know, I know, everyone does.

They’re so clean, well designed, and they always seem to do what I want – whether it be serve as reader or a notebook to store all my thoughts, links, junk etc.

So, I was excited to see this link http://www.micropersuasion.com/2007/02/transform_gmail.html  from Brandon Mendelson - giving you some powerful options for Gmail.
